Alex moved his painting business from Brisbane to Darwin in 2013, under the brand Baki’s Painting. In 2020, Baki’s Painting rebranded to Djari Painting to provide more certainty and clarity around the level of indigenous involvement not only from within the company but also in its wider community. Having a personal mission to support local indigenous communities, Alex has worked on a range of projects in remote rural locations.
